A Johnson Controls seating plant in my town closed last november. They had employed about 350 employees in their heyday since opening the brand new state of the art plant in 1985. Paid top wages and benefits in our town and remained non-union. Very communitty-friendly company- had 100% participation United Way drive every year, etc.

It is sad to see the big empty building and empty parking lot. 23 years of a great employer is gone.
