NE1 know if the pop up screen of an indash dvd player (pyle pltvrdin65) would be affected by the a/c vent?? Looks like the vent protrudes a little bit out from the stock radio face and I'm wondering if the screen would be able to sit 90 degrees or whatever optimum viewing angle it needs? Also any ideas where to mount radio unit behind dash?

(dvd with TV tuner for on sale $400 Cdn which is why I'm considering it)

Thanks

Can Trac-

What model is that DVD player? And do you ahve a web link to the vendor?

Just have it mounted in the lower half of the opening and it will be ok. I just shut off the vents when I use it. I have the Pioneer AVIC N2.

Gary,

how do you like the Avic? I am considering the Avic-Z1 for the '07 ST.

It's great. I happened to talk to a installer today about that new model. He said it was very good, blue tooth and all. He also said he could make the DVD work while driving.

Nice to have a bigger screen too!

Peter: it is a pyle pltvrdin65, got it from Gibby's Stereo located in St. Catharines, ON - near Niagara Falls. Look at the flyer, I think they have about 12 left (as of 3:00 ET)
