Ignition Ring Light

I'm curious if anyone has installed an ignition ring light on a 2nd Gen?

Previously, I've only owned Hondas/Acuras and have always had one.

When I bought the truck, I just assumed it had one and was surprised that Ford doesn't include the option.

I'd like to keep from scratching up the column each time I put the key in the ignition.

I'm sure the wiring won't be very difficult and I'm sure there is an assembly that would easily fit without much modification to the existing assembly.

If anyone has done this, I would appreciate some insight.
