Ignition coil

My cel light is on and the code is P0302. It is engine misfire on ignition coil 2. Does anyone know the positioning of the plugs in a 2007 v8 4.6L. Thank you

Ray, have you ever changed the spark plugs? If not, that is a more likely source of your problem than the ignition coil on #2 cylinder. The P0302 code only indicates a misfire on #2. It does not specify whether it is a coil, spark plug or something else, just a misfire. It could be something as simple as a cracked spark plug boot which is the rubber piece between the coil and the spark plug.
