I lost software cd - HP DVD740 burner, help!

Hi, I lost my software cd, or i left it at home, which either way, i probably won;t have it for some time. Can someone zip up thiers and send it to me, possibly over AIM which is easy for sending larger files. Thanks in advance.

yeah i checked before, its only an update for the firmware, and an update for the lightscribe system software..

Are you talking about the Nero software for creating/writing the DVD's?



If isn't it installed on your computer?



You can download a trial version here. It may last until you get your CD back.

no, i'm talkin about the product cd with the lightscribe drivers, and SureThing lightscribe software that comes on it.. I use nero 6 non-trial and I like it, i really need the HP 740 lightscribe setup that is from the CD if anyone happens to have the cd. HP does not provide it for download as most every other company would. THanks

If i use that one i have to use the universal version of the LightScribe System Software which installs a generic set of lightscribe drivers. I also wanted to use it more than 15 days. I just wanted the original program from the CD, has the right lightscribe drivers and software. thanks everyone, but i'm still lookin.

I'd recommend calling H/P and have them send you a replacement CD.
