Long story well documented CEL with P0401 code. Replaced DPFE as well as EGR sensor. Dealership calls and says that the problem is the DPFE and that the tubes are twisted. Huh? How can you twist the outflow tubes to the DPFE sensor? You can follow the tubes all the way down to where they join the exhaust just by looking! This isn't rocket science. You remove the old sensor, the insertion openings are mounted in front of you with rigid tubing, and the sensor can only fit in one direction. Under the pretense that he is actually trying to tell me that the plug is twisted that can't be either because there is a plastic stem that sticks up locking the plug into the receiver. Has anyone heard of such a thing?
