I have a pair of really old Atomic 10" subs I was gonna give me friend for his neon and I don't know the Impedance of the subs...anyway to find out? Doesn't say anything on the sub itself and I can't find any info on these older subs anywhere on the net. I do believe they are single voice coil tho.

Thanks.

Multimeter, touch positive to one and negative to the other. With it on ohm's and it will tell you.

How many posts does it have on it?

Single voice coil.

If you have access to a multimeter then you can tell easily. Either way I'd bet money it's 2 or 4 so 99% of amps will be fine. Just depends on how much power you want to feed it.

That should be fine.

Is it going in a sealed or ported box? If it's sealed with out a doubt ok, if it's ported just be careful and make sure they aren't getting beat up too bad, but they should still be ok off that sony amp.
