The shine of the plane looks fakey and the propeller stopping doesn't look real either. If you read the coments on the youtube page, most people agree it is fake. Some site the wing flies off in the wrong direction. Cool video though.

Wings = lift, thus, no wings = no lift, and then no lift = falling out of the sky. If one wing falls off, the plane will bank (and pitch) drastically to the side without the wing.



For a plane landing on soft ground at speed, you'd expect to see at least a puff of dirt and/or grass at touch down...the ground remains undisturbed at the "landing site". Not to mention the stresses on the landing struts that somehow remain intact.
 
Tiger, what you say is usually true but with advanced computerized flight controlls it ain't the same any more.



With a plane using wires for controls, the system's out of balance and won't work right. But, with actuators and fly by wire now days, the computer will make the plane fly if it's remotely possible.
