Just heard Neal Boortz mention this. This has to be the best aviator on the planet! He was flying a stunt/race plane, and one wing fell off during a climb. He lands the plane intact with one wing!!!

Incredible! It lends a whole new meaning to the aviation phrase "Any landing you can walk away from is a good one"

Another amazing Pilot I saw happened at Dobbins AFB in the 90's

A Reserve F16 pilot with Bill Elliot in the back seat clipped one of our

F-15's over north GA. Our pilot luckily bailed out and was unharmed.

The f-16 brought his plane back with half a wing and missing rear aileron.

Shows how well fly-by-wire works. We had this plane in the hangar

wor a few days. Not sure if Bill Elliot pooped his pants or not:lol:

First,,, if ti is true. WOW !!!!

And the landing, it does look like something is not quite right, almost like a model plane. I watched it several times trying to see it better.

The one thing, we never lose view of the plane, almost, but not quite. You can see the tail and the left wind at the same time near the end.

Sooo, I am leaning toward it being legit..

Speaking of computer generated.......this one was a classic :D

at the end of the video the plane bounces and then almost immediatly stops. it doesnt look like it could possibly real during the landing. stunp plane or not. that thing would still flex hitting the ground that hard, but in the video its looks smooth as can be. Im thinking its gotta be fake. sure would like some confirmation

Yeah, I expected SOME kind of crash at the end. It's really hard to believe that he could pull off a landing like that with only one wing. Keeping the plane in the air with engine power alone is a possibility, but landing is a different issue!

Some years ago an Isreali pilot landed an F15 fighter with only one wing. The other wing was broken off during a mid-air collision. He didn't know his wing was gone because the fuel tank leak spray blocked his vision. He said that had he known he only had one wing he would have ejected. It's all on video, both from inside and outside the F15. I believe you can find it with a web search. So, it is possible.....maybe only done twice in history.

That's a huge fake. Unless of course, over that particular air field the laws of physics and aerodynamics have suddenly stopped working.

Viral videos work best when they at least look possibly impossible.

Well, it looks pretty good to me. If it's fake, find proof. I'm not saying that it's real or fake, just seeking proof for the claims that it's fake.

Hey, look at the bright side: Real or fake, at least by posting it I've sparked a non-political discussion!:D
