I need some info. Lots of rain yesterday and decieded to try 4wd for the first time. I pressed the 4X4 auto button and nothing. Isn't that supposed to engage the 4X4 system for normal street application?

Do you mean '4x4 High' ?

Truck is always in 4by auto. Hit the 4by high to engage full-time.

So you can shift back to 4x4 Auto after being in 4x4 High or 4x4 Low.

For what it's worth, you need to be at a complete stop, foot on the brake, and transmission in Neutral to engage 4x4 Low.
