Help with boat

Back in the 80, I bought a Bass tracker 2, made by Pro Bass. It is a 2 man boat . I trade it the other day for a motorcycle and now I can't find the title or rember if it ever had a title. If any of you guy have ever had one did you get a title with it or not. .

Boat will have a title, the trailer will just have a bill of sale. Both are needed to register them. Bob

PS: could check with DMV to see if they have a copy of the title.

It is based on your HIN (Hull Identification Number).



This number SHOULD be on the Stern on the upper Starboard side.



Call the BMV with this number and tell them you have lost the title. They will tell you what to do from there.

It depends on the state you are in and the length of the boat. Some states don't title boats but a bill of sale is needed to register.

Missouri will title the Boat, Motor (if separate) and the Trailer.
