Help-2nd post to rear end noise...

In the last 2 or 3 days my '01 ST with about 115k has made a very weird noise with initial accelerations and only on cold starts. When i go to accelerate i hear what sounds like a vibration or a growning noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. This only lasts till i get up to about 2mph and only on the first 1 or 2 takeoffs in the morning. After it is heated up there is no noise. I have the open rear end 3.73 and changed the differential fluid at about 95k (20k ago). Could this be my rear u joints??

Crawl under the Trac and check for any severe play in the rear universal joint.
