I want to get a new head unit soon, but i want to keep all of my speakers and my stock sub. Will the wiring from my stock amp that came with the pioneer edition sport tracs work with an aftermarket head unit?
It should. I think your sport trac has inline amps not a single unit that amplifies the system. If it does have a single amp like most aftermarket setups just buy the stereo harness and tap into the aftermarket harness. With the inline amps it is built into the line so just plug in the aftermarket deck harness to the stock harness and your good to go.
