Headlight switch

OK So I realize I don't always pay attention to things until I think it stops working. I got into my Trac last night, turned on the lights and thought is was strange that the switch had no illumination to it. There was only a single dot on the dash showing the lights were on. Can anyone confirm one way or the other that the headlight switch shouldbe lit up when the lights are on?

Yes, it should be lit.



Over the years, I'll bet I have forced Ford or Mazda to replace at least 15 head light switches under warranty because of that stupid bulb that burns out after about a year or so.

Yep, on my second, no, third switch now. Even Mary' Mustang needed changing. She's on number two. Cheap piece of crap!! Bob
