What if there are no good candidates to vote for? Voting for a bad candidate is not the thing to do.

I kind of agree with Gavin. In many cases you are only voting for what you think is the lesser of 2 evils.



Regardless if you are conservative or libral, who ever you vote for always plays the role of a moderate, that almost everyone would agree with, until they win the election. Suddenly, you the voter is not longer important, and their allegiance is only with the political party that supported and financed their campaign. That's why I think we need laws to ban political parties and let every candidate for political office stand on their own merits and not the political party that spends the most money on their behalf.



Political parties are no different than any other Special Interest Group !!
