I have some switches that I would like to wire in and need to know what wire feeds power only when the key is turn on under the full console on a Gen 1... any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might be better if you run your own feeds off the fuse block so you don't overload any existing circuits. jmo

course that depends on what you are trying to control with the switches; whether you want the accessories to work with the key off, or only when the truck is running, etc.??

You can tap off the connector for the rear blower motor, which is hot only in the run position. The connector is one of two 10-pin connectors at the front of the console, it should be grey and the other should be black. There are only 7 wires coming out of it, the other has 10 wires. You want to use the yellow wire on pin 3.

Or, you can use the Red/Black wire on pin 5 (same connector) which is the illumination wire for the rear control panel.
