Hello everyone,



I would like to upgrade my 2004 ST visor to one from an explorer with the garage door remote. I tried searching the forums but can't find anything on this. Is it even possible? Are they interchangeable?

See the following link. Note that this install is on an Explorer. Also note the discussion that not all years have the same connectors, so you may need to tap wires as opposed to plugging and playing.

Does the St have any wiring at all by the visors? To my knowledge, none of the ST's ever came with lighted visors or any need for power there, so would ford have ran the wiring anyway?

I completely forgot. You'll need to run wires to the overhead console for 12v and ground.
