So I had to get my thermostat housing replaced last week when the check engine light came on. Took it to my autos class learned more about how the engine is put together, but got it fixed at a local auto place just because I trust them with repairs. Long story short it's now running really funny when I put it in park. No problems starting and is driving like a champ at 132k. But when I pull into parking spaces garage, etc. it starts revving really hard and it almost dies. Do I call the shop back or is this something else?

Did they unhook/hook ur intake parts at all. I know theres a tube that comes off the intake to the valve cover that will alter the way it idles????

I can look. It only started this week and when I went to go pick it up the car wouldn't start until like the sixth time I turned it over. I'm gonna give them a call and ask if they have an idea

Always scan for trouble codes first, check engine light or not.
