fog lights

last week my fog lights didn`t work this week they do what`s up. does any one know what would cause that?

Bad ground at the light? Not a fuse because they work now...

Sure, you should have a switch of some sort. Typically you can toggle the switch on and off by either pulling, twisting or flipping the switch. In the right position, the fog lights will turn on. (Of course the other direction will turn them off) . . . . Sorry, I couldn't resist.

If you can elaborate on your experience, members may be able to help you with more accuracy.

I'd first check the fuses. (I'd have to disagree wih Chris. I've personally had fuses go bad and still work occasionally.)

Then I'd check the wiring (it may be a grounding issue)

It could be the bulbs, but unlikely. If both are going out, I'd check the other two first.

I would lean towards a bad switch or bad relay. A bad ground will usually cause the lights to be dim.

Henry, check the switch next to the radio..



My fogs were intermittent and that was the cause.
