Fog Light Lamp Replacement

How do I get the lamp out of the Fog light? Is it an easy disconnect? Thanks, Tim

Tim has a Gen 2 Trac. There's nothing in the Projects section about replacing Gen 2 fog lights.

Not hard. Lay down under the front bumper and you can pretty much see it all from the back side.



Twist socket counterclockwise about 1/4 turn to release if from the body of the lamp. Pull out old bulb and push in new bulb. Align socket to housing and twist it back in. There is a connector between the wire and the socket you can disconnect if you want to, but you don't need to.



No tools needed! 2-minute job or less! :banana:



Remember to handle the bulbs with a clean tissue or gloves. You don't want to get any skin oil or dirt on the glass because it will shorten the life of the bulb.
