Flashing Battery after power pulley set

I recently installed the power pulley set, all except the power steering pulley. This required re-using my original serpentine belt.



I have noticed now that my battery light flashes on and off randomly when the car is on. the longest it has stayed on is maybe a full 60 seconds.



Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on? I had an alternator replacement about 8k ago, so I dont think it should be going bad. If that were the case, I would see the light stay illuminated, correct?

one single wire going to a spade connector on alt.. its loose

You think that its that simple? That would be awesome.

Yes that single wire is on there to turn the battery light on nothing else... if its still charging and not going dead when you park.. if you disconnect the wire light will be on all the time.. so if its flashing from time to time its almost sure there is a bad connection at the spade on the back of the alt... I find lots of them like that in Fords
