Factory sub / aftermarket HU interface?

I have an opportunity to buy a factory subwoofer/amp unit from a 2003 ST (the one that goes behind the seat in the storage area). It will come with pigtail wiring, looks like it has five conductors in it. I'd like to connect it to my Kenwood aftermarket head unit that has RCA low level connectors and a signal wire. I don't think that an adapter kit would do me any good, as the head unit end of the wiring is not there.

I've searched the archives, but didn't seem to find an answer.

Can anyone help?
