I have a dilemma, I have picked out all the components I want except for the tips. The set up I have in mind will be similar to Jeff C's, where the exhaust exits in front of the rear tire. I cannot for the life of me pick the tips that I think would look the best on the Trac, so I figured I would toss my ideas out here and see what you guys think. (Jeff, I hope you don't mind me borrowing your pic)

What do you guys think?

1 is alright.

2 is Ricer-riffic!

Can I add option #3?

Craig, I also have a setup like Jeff's, except I used a single in/single out Magnaflow with no cat on mine. The tip I used is also made by Magnaflow, although its not on their site. It's a single in/dual out tip. The Magnaflow dealer happened to stop by the shop while we were trying to decide how to run the exhaust and showed us this new tip he had with him. It fit perfect and we were able to talk him out of it, even though it was the only one he had with him.

Unfortunately, my setup is a bit too loud for my wife's taste, so I'm going to be redoing it very soon. If you're interested, I'd be willing to sell it and you could just bolt it up. Its completely welded, one piece from the flange to the tip. It cost me about $250 to have done, I'd sell it for $110 plus shipping. I can get some pics and a sound clip of it on Wednesday.

edit- I also have a cat-less y-pipe on my truck, which will probably make it a little bit quieter on yours.

Jeff,

What all did you have to do to get your exaust to exit there? I like it alot. Also how much money did you end up spending? Thanks man!

Somewhere around $120, tips and all, installed at a local shop. Then I paid them $25 cash to cut out a cat and put in a pipe.

Dingo- where did you find those? I like 'em

TRACket- That's what I was thinking, either that or rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise

Dan- If you could get some pics, that would be amazing, and sound would be even better

Thanks for the input guys!

I have twin slash tips x 2 run out the back (total of 4) out of a single-in, dual-out magnaflow muffler. It was too loud for my taste at first, but it quieted down after about a month or else I got used to it. Now it just purrs unless I get on it; then it snarls..............doug

I like Jeff's... But I am wary about all the noise that would be right behind my cab so I went with a single pipe out the rear and down slanted. It adds flash but almost looks oem at the same time.
