exhaust manifold

I'm reading bits and pieces of a problem the gen 2 have with the exhaust manifold or the bolts for the manifold breaking.

around what mileage has this been happening?

what is the dealers fee for fixing this problem?

ours was late 50K and 60K, but both sides fixed under warranty. Wouldnt want that bill, they kept it for a few days each time.

Do you guys think if the Intake, Throtle Body, UnderDrive Pulley, and Mufflers were changed that it would void the warranty and they would not repair it. I'm coming up on 45k miles.

Paul, both of mine went at 66K miles. I'm going to replace them with headers.

Henry, any aftermarket part that you install, by law, will not void your warranty. However, if one of those parts causes any kind of damage/failure to the vehicle, you will be responsible! 49 state requirements allow you to do many things, just be careful with any emission stuff. Bob

i know several people that have spent $65 in a proactive way by pulling out the factory bolts and replacing with Stage 8 lockers. The are better quality bolts that stay tight.
