Emergency Brake Light

Whenever I use my emergency brake, sometimes the light ("brake" light in guages) comes on and sometimes it doesn't. Anyone else have this happen. The brake works, just wondering why it doesn't always ligtht up.

Sorry, didn't read your post correct. Check the switch at the e-brake itself. Loose wire, etc.

press the ebrake down, spray some electrical contact cleaner on the plunger switch, move the switch up and down, spray with ecc, move switch up and down, then spray some spray lube on it. no more problem.
