Electrical Problem?

I seem to be having some sort of electrical or radio problem.



I have a 2001 Sport Trac 2x4 with sunroof, 5 cd player am/fm. I thought I was hear/seeing things last week when all of a sudden the volume on my radio went down to zero. Then today when I was coming home from Chiji's I applied the brakes and zooooom my radio started scanning the stations. Then I got to my apartment complex and applied the brakes and the radio changed stations. I had the defroster on and a cellphone charger plugged in at the time. I turned the defroster off and removed the charger gefore pulling into my parking space. This time nothing happened. Is it a quirk because I had all those things on or is there a problem somewhere. Anyone else had this sort of problem?

Seems it may need come cleaning of the volume contact.......



I know there were other posts about this.....

Jack, My 01 ST also has this radio, Do you have the rear seat controls? If so, look for something hiting the controls when you hit the brakes.



(Thats what I found year on mine)
