Everything has changed in 24 hours as our Hunter has gone to doggie heaven this morning. He did not eat for a few days and was in a lot of pain with complications from his cancer and chemo. I was up at 1:30 am this morning and he paced for hours. Took him for his last ride at 9:30 am. He was the best.

I was reluctant to post this, but I think there have been other similar posts. I had to stop writing in the middle of this to let Hunter outside as he is sick to his stomach and had me up at 5 am.

Sorry to hear. Same as with people, every once in a while you come across a personality that sets the bar. Sounds like Hunter did that.

Thank you guys. Hugh, you are correct, there will never be another like him. I could go on forever, he knew every word I spoke. Eddie, yes indeed. Man's best friend is an understatement.
