Eco Boost Swap

I was just wondering if there was a way to swap a newer V6 eco-boost engine in an older Sport Trac? I own a 2004 right now and love everything but the low horsepower. The newer V-6's should be populating the salvage yards in the next couple of years, might be an opportunity? Easier than a 302 swap?

Anything is possible but one would probably have to be a master fabricator to pull it off. The big issue though would be the electronics. If you had a donor vehicle that would make things easier but a stand alone controller would be the optimum way to go and as far as I know no one is making one yet.

Ditto on Scott...As a retired instrument tech. With my understanding of the involvment and cost. I wont attempt it.
