Driver Window Problems

Long time member here but mostly a lurker but now I have a problem. Over the last 3 months my driver window has got stuck while in the halfway to all the way down position. Afer pressing the up side of the switch a few times it finally goes up. Seems to me the

switch is probably worn out. Is this a DIY project or would I have to go to the dealer?

Yes, you can do it yourself. If it is indeed the switch you will need a drivers master switch. It comes as all the switches. Plug and Play

If not the switch what could it be?

If working the switch makes it better, most likely that is the problem. Or a loose wire. You could spray some electrical contact cleaner on the switch. That may clean the contacts and work for a while.

Try spraying some silicone lube in the window tracks. They may just be dry and dirty.
