Door unlock switch is broken

My door lock/unlock (specifically unlock) switch has malfunctioned. Can somebody please explain to me, in detail how to take the panel off that contains the door lock function? Any pictures? I’ve read that other people have had this problem with their ST. But nowhere have I read how they resolved this problem. I assume that I will need to replace the switch.
