Door Problems

I just replaced a broken exterior door handle on my sport trac. Now the handle works intermittently. I can only open the door from the outside after the inside latch has been pulled. So i can get out of my truck, go wonder around and then open the truck to get back in no problem. I just can't open the door from the outside two times in a row. Hope that's not confusing. Any suggestions?

mine was doing the same thing, i took the latch out to lube it and noticed it was slightly bent. looking at it from the side the bottom was wider the the top allowing a little tab to stop the latches from releasing. bent it back and it now works perfect.
