OK, so I trusted Rock Auto to get the right parts, and maybe I shouldn't have. Before I go through the trouble of changing spark plugs can someone tell me if these will work. I bought these before I checked the owner's manual, stupid, I know. I got Motorcraft AGSF22FM (SP-500), and the owners manual specifies AGSF22PP. Am I alright to use these plugs I bought? They are a platinum plug with the .054 gap and the owner's manual specifies a .052 - .056.

Thanks for the HELP!

P.S. I bought this truck used at 75k and now at 137k I'm pretty sure it has the original plugs, bad I know.

Same spark plug. Motorcraft now uses the shorter SP-500 number.

Don't forget anti seize on the threads, they'll be in there for a while. :supercool:

Thanks for the quick reply. I will be using anti seize and hoping the old plugs will come out easy. This truck has become the sitter at home as I have a car I drive to work now to save wear and tare and miles on the ST.
