what a way to test tires! wow! The first vid was just somebody else and I don't think the step bar broke, I think it just bent.

The Gen II's don't really have the ground clearance for 'froading.

Johnstone runs a locker in the front axle.

I have done that with my ST, it only bends them up into the body more. What happens is that the brackets holding the boards on bend, so if you want it to look stock again you need to replace the brackets. Both of mine were bent, so they didn't even notice at lease return time.
