I spent two hours at the Ford display this morning. Pretty cool stuff there. They have a mustang boss 302 on a chassis dyno inside the hall.

I took a ride in a Volt last Friday from a friend who owns the 91st one off the line. Rode nice and had more zip than I was expecting. Kind of a complicated startup procedure. seems strange to ride in something that makes no noise. Even has a button on the steering wheel that causes the horn to make quiet quick 'courtesy toot' to warn others of your presence without being rude by blaring the horn at them.

The radio doesn't turn off. You can only turn it down. he hasn't yet figured out how to turn ON the air conditioner. That was funny as it was warm that day and got a little stuffy in the car.

its an electric car!!!! no wait!....its a hybrid!!!!.....no wait....its neither, its just a great car.:bwahaha:

does anyone think the newer honda civic and the volts headlights are very relevant.

but i find it rather pricey. yes it does have its immense differences from the toyota prius and the newly released nissan leaf such the new one of a kind technology in the powertrain but is it worth paying that extra 10k.

I'm going to the Philadelphia Auto Show on 1/31, something I've done each year for at least the past 15. Can't wait -- I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Pittsburgh's World of Wheels is next weekend, I'll go but it won't be the same without my Show Truck in it this year, Here's some pictures of it when I won Best in Class in 2009.

At least cars are starting to show more character. There are so few cars I like the design of from the mid 70s to late 90s that its ridiculous. How did all the car makers produce such bland or ugly vehicles for 30 years? Not all of today's vehicles are to my liking, but there is such differentiation between models, that I can find some that appeal to me. Finally!

Ford's been using that design style in their European cars for a while now. The Focus and Fiesta are the first to get that design in the US.
