did anyone ever notice a little hole in the dash on the inside behind the pass. side wiper...its an uncovered little hole...visible from outside the windshield looking in....I have noticed it on all the traks I see...and even the older rangers.....anyone know what its for...does it have to do with the outside temp sensor on overhead consol or something....I thought maybe they forgot to put a little cosmetic plug cover on or something........thanks

I'm pretty sure that's the hole for the daylight sensor for automatic headlamps. The Explorer has that feature, and since the Ranger, ST, and Explorer all use the same dashes...all have the hole.
