My cruise control switch covers have been deteriorating for some time now, so I decided to fix them. The dealer has them for $140. His show the same # for 01 thru 05but my 01's were hard plastic while my 05's are soft rubber/vinyl. Fast Parts (sponsor) lists them for $102 up to $542. Amazon has them for $50 to $70. What gives ?:banghead:

Perhaps your '01 covers were soft originally and then hardened. My '01 has soft vinyl like covers.



Go with the best price you can get, but ensure that they are OEM (if that is a concern).

You need part SW5928. These switches fit the 2001-2005 Sport Trac. Shop Ebay and Amazon to save a few dollars.
