Crickets in the engine?

My engine sounds like a cricket chirping when it idles. When I replaced the alternator last summer, I noticed that the idler pulley on the belt tensioner seemed a little rough. Think this is what is making the noise?

Yes, your idler pully is squeaking. Change the belt while you are at it.
