Cigarette Lighter - No Power

I seemed to have lost power to the cig lighter - need it to plug GPS etc into. before I change/check the fuse - could it be anything else ?

Follow up question. The manual says the fuse for the cig lighter also for Data link Connector. What is the DLC ?

I hate to sound facicous, but. That is always the primary thing to check.

If my table lamp wont turn on. I will check the bulb first.:bwahaha:

On the 2007 I just bought I had to clean them out with a wire brush

I have the same problem on my '01, except I started to change the fuse and right when I began to push in the new fuse, it sparked and blew.... anyone have any ideas of what it could be? Thanks!

maybe try using the 12v on the side of console (passenger footwell)?
