CD Error Message

I am getting the CD Error message on my Pioneer 6 cd changer in my 2001 ST. The changer shows CD's in all 6 slots but I know there is only one CD in slot 4.



I did a search on the site and have tried unhooking the negative battery cable and pressing the 3 and 6 buttons to run a test but I still have the CD Error. A couple of posts mention removal of two fuses, one for memory and one for power.



I know the fuses are numbered and I do not have the manual that tells me which fuse is for what. Can someone tell me which two fuses do I remove and how long to I leave them out?

You need to pull both fuses for reset. See the link to download a new manual for free.

Had the same problem in my 2001 F-350. It was not salvagable, had to replace the radio. It was a bitch to get the discs out, had to dissasemble the whole radio to retrieve them. Sorry, just my experience. Bob
