If anyone has a vehicle they might present to me as for sale, I'm open but I must tell you, I'll run a Carfax on it before I get back to you with my decision.



If I'm not interested because of the Carfax, I'll relay said Carfax report and let you know why!!

from experience, carfax is not 100% fool proof .



it sounds like you got bad history on potential purchase?

Yes, I know Carfax only shows reported "facts" but it is a good starting point IMO. It at least rules out the reported incidents.



But no, I purchased the Avalon I had been following. Should be here early next week.

for sure it is a good starting point.

i just had a few "good" reports on a few of my fleet vehicles that were not accurate. so going foward, i don't 100% rely on carfax or any other reports and after doing my homework, i also go with "gut" feeling.



glad to hear you got the avalon you were interested in.
