Hi all,

I have a question I know someone can answer.

I need the curtains on my poultry house to travel at the

same speed. I added a couple of pulleys and a hand winch in the cable run.

I added the pulleys and hand winch to be able to lower

or raise the first seventy five feet of curtain

for when I go in and out of tunnel mode for cooling.

The rest of the time I need the curtains to travel at the same speed as controlled by the curtain machine via thermostat.

When I added the pulleys the speed changed between the two sections.

Pic below show the before and after.

Thanks for your help.

Hi bill,

When the curtain machine is controlling the curtains it will only influence the pulley on the right.

The pulley on the left is static.

I know there is a complicated way of doing this I just can't figure it out.

The easy way didn't work.

More pulleys, different sizes?

thanks for your help.

I know all about Chickin curtainsYou need a larger pully on the left side

Bill I thought I knew you from somewhere ............. MyCHICKENCOOP.com :D

A couple of questions:

Does the "curtain machine" wind the cable onto a drum?

When the curtain machine is operating, does the left side curtain and the right side curtain move to the left?
