General Motors. Number 1 automaker in the world for 75 years.

Budweiser Beer. Number 1 beer in the USA.

Marlboro Cigarettes. Number 1 brand of smokes in the USA.



So there you see, being number one does not mean you are the best. You are only that way because of marketing (Budweiser and Marlboro) or by being the biggest so people naturally follow. (GM)

Ford can not make a good looking Explorer right now. They can not get off their asses to produce a small car. You think better marketing would be something they would think of??

I closed on my first house a couple of weeks ago. It'll be nice to have a garage for my Trac to sleep in. I'm working on painting the master bedroom and installing a now floor before I move in.
 
Thanks guys! Contract done and I got a really great interest rate!!! 3.875% first year and 4.875% on the following year all the way up to 30 years!:)

Are you telling me that General Motors makes the best cars and trucks because they are number one?



If so, GM is better than Toyota.

BTW, congratulations. Hopefully we will be buying a new house this spring after the new contract is signed. Getting out of this 800 sq/ft home with a 90' x 110' lot into something a little nicer. You would think, as an overpaid union employee, I should be living in a 3500 sq/ft home sitting on 30 acres of prime real estate.

Looks nice! From here in Minnesota, I'm very envious of the palm tree! How big is it (sf)? What is that off the back of it--a screened porch?

Woppy: It is (at a price), but believe it or not, I want to eventually move to VA (Fairfax area), thats after I'm done working for CNN (where I want to work next)... so maybe we can swap? LOL!



I went by and took some interior shots.. I'll get em up soon.. but I'm sleepy and it's night time for me.. (working nights will do it that to ya)!:)

LOL! Fairfax is the most expensive place to live in Va!!! 'Set a goal... Tackle a goal... Thats living...'



I like that area too. Used to chase the GMU women around there for awhile. :D
