What is the bolt that holds the break caliper? I lost one today driving. 2004 4x4. Thanks all!

The bolts that hold the brake caliper to the caliper anchor are referred to as caliper slide pins. The bolts that hold the caliper anchor to the spindler are referred to as caliper anchor bolts.

There are 2 bolts that hold the brake caliper on. I lost 1. What is that 1 and what size is it? I'm out of town and need to fix it. Thanks!

NAPA sells brake hardware kits for each axle (i.e., both front and rear brakes). If you don't want to do that, pull the same bolt from opposite brake and take it to a hardware store to match.

Any parts store should be able to get a brake caliper slide bolt for you. Most should have it in stock.

How did you notice? That could be a nasty problem if both were lost.
