Bed Liner on a Westin Safari Bar

Hi all,



I currently have the Westin Safari Bar on the front of my truck, love it buttttt I WISH IT WAS BLACK. So here what I am thinking, bed linering it from a kit from PepBoys. I plan on doin the Safari Bar and the Running Boards. My question is do you guys think that it will adhear to the Stainless Steel of the bar or will it chip away, I thought about really roughing it up with possibly a grinder, what do you think I'm kind of new at this. Thanks friends.

I would check around and see if I could find a place to bead blast it and Powder Coat it.

drpertz idea will hold up and look better. Not easy to make the liner stuff stick to SS. Sand blasting or bead blasting will give the metal a better texture for paint or powdercoat.

Thanks guys thats a good idea. I got a buddy who has a sand blaster, well see how that works.
