My battery light won’t stop coming on I’ve replaced alternator and battery I have checked voltage in the wires and they seem good but light still on what is the problem here

I have the same thing happening, battery light comes on and lights dim, fan slows. Latest is there is a clicking sound in the left dash when I press the brakes. I'm guessing there is a grounding problem but have no idea where to start.

Did you scan the PCM for charging system codes?

No, guess I should go to the parts store and have them scan it.
Thanks for the suggestion.

If you check the voltage at the back of the alternator and at the battery? Are they the same?

I saw a post elsewhere where a guy replaced the negative battery cable even though his looked good and it fixed the problem. I just disconnected the smaller wire to the body, cleaned the connections and the problem disappeared.

You should remove and clean every ground points you can find. Around the engine bay you have a few. Remove your kick panels in the cab. You have a few there also.

Try the wiggle test with all the connections. Did you scan the PCM? If it is a flooded lead battery. Check the voltage at each cell if you can.

Good luck
