Went there last year. Arrived by sea, Norwegian Cruise Lines. Nice area. See you went to Cadillac Mountain. Great view!

I lived across the bay in Winter Harbor for 7 years. Spent many a day riding my motorcycle up and down the road to Cadillac Mt. and around the park loop road. Be sure to check out Geddy's (pronounced Jeddys) downtown Bar Harbor.

Great pics.

I live a little over an hour from Bar Harbor yet rarely go there. Every time I do go I think geez why dont I come here more often, although sometimes the traffic is so bad I dont want to be be near there. Its funny how there are such great things so close to home yet I travel all over the place. The mountains and ocean scenery combo of that area is wonderful. I keep saying I am going to spend more time on MDI (the island Bar Harbor is on) but just never do. Acadia National park has some absolutely stunning scenery. The drive up Cadillac Mountain and the view from the top is amazing. Maybe with the price of gas I will spend some time close to home this summer and go to Acadia and Bar Harbor a few times.



Tom you will not be disappointed with your trip, if you wait to come after Labor Day the crowds will be significantly less.
