having my shocks replaced as we speak- rear diff. fluid replaced and new rear seal- when the phone rang i was hoping the shop would tell me he was finished but instead he tells me that my front ball joints are shot (2001 with 133,000mi) what can i expect to pay for the ball joints/shop charges??? thanks,Brad

I suspect your mechanic is right! 100K is about all you can expect from your front end suspension parts. If you are reasonably handy you could probably do the upper ball joints yourself....the lowers best left to the mechanic.

When I took mine in it cost me roughly $500.00 for lower ball joints and cam adjustment and alignment after I did a torsion twist.
