Autodim Mirror

Has anyone else had their autodim mirror stop functioning? I have an '05 ST and the Autodim mirror stopped working. The mirror was OE to the truck. I purchased another used mirror and it works some of the time, and some of the time does not. I have to wiggle the connector to get the replacement mirror to work. On my original mirror I can clearly see that one of the prongs does not connect well to the board. I am wondering if the one I purchased as a replacement has the same issue since it came from a wrecked truck? I even switched out the wiring harness to see is this is the probem, but I do not believe it is. But anyway, has anyone else had one of these mirrors quit working or only work on occassion?

If you can solder. Sounds as if you might be able to fix the connector.



My self I put black tape on the eye, in my '04. Ay night it darkens too much. Cant see the cars through the dark back glass.
