I will be in Seattle for a Microsoft convention March 2-6 - what can I do in Seattle at night....other than drink Starbucks and admire the rain?

I will be staying at the Sheraton on 6th Ave in downtown Seattle but w/o a car.

two Words : Pioneer Square! (tons of bars for one cover charge)

and The Phoenix!!! (great night club, bottom floor is designed like a cave)

P.S. Seattle SportTrac: check your email! thx

(ANOTHER reason why we need "PM's" on this forum!)

Hey Travis - Pioneer Square, Pikes Place Market, Seattle Center (EMP, Space Needle, Key Arena if the Sonics are playing at home)

You can get around in a cab.

Been to the Phoenix number of times. It's called something else now. Taking my daughters to see "Angels and Airwaves" on the 8th there.

Doug - I have a con call with on Thursday. I'll let you know.

Sonics are on a 7 game road trip from Mar 2-12 - that's brutal.

Wish it was baseball season, always try to plan business around baseball games. I am big on checking out the stadiums. Buy a cheap ticket, mill around the park to get various vantage points and see where the best seats are to watch from. Obvious spot would be in the dugout making a few million a season to play a game but those days are long gone.

Is the Space Needle worth it (time/money/hassle)?

How's the airport? Is 2 hours a good lag prior to the flight to be able to get through security?
