Our 01 trac just doesn't want to idle when the A/C motor cycles on or off (control set to "panel" not necissarily A/C) it's even stalled a couple times at low speed when the pump cycles on or off

I've run several searches on the site and thought it might be the IAC so I replaced it.

I also did a SeaFoam clean starting at the throttle body hoping that might solve the problem but I'm stuck.

While I was doing the SeaFoam cleaning, I placed a wedge under the throttle stop to keep the RPM's up and allowed the A/C pump to cycle and the RPM's didn't change.

I'm not sure where to look next...

It could be compressor problem. loading to heavy, high pressure. Need gauges to determine that.

Easy thing to do is. Disconnect negative battery terminal for 15 minutes. Restart motor without AC on. Let it run 5 minutes. Maybe the ecu will relearn how to idle.
